What is a webcast?
A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Users will be able to see and hear council meeting discussions, either live or from the archive, via a PC or from mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets.
Archive
You might not be able to join meetings live so you can use the archives to view them when it suits you. This also allows you to jump to a specific agenda point or speaker. Webcasts are normally archived within two days of the meeting and are kept for six months.
Using this site
Recent and forthcoming meetings, and their associated documents, are displayed on the left hand side of the page. Just click on the title to view.
Click the Share button at the top of a webcast player page to share a link via social media or email. For live webcasts, you can share from the player page on the day. For archived webcasts, you can also share an agenda item.
You can follow Aberdeenshire Council on Twitter and receive news updates and a reminder of when we will be webcasting meetings. We welcome your feedback and you can make comments using the feedback link above the webcast. If you are having problems viewing our webcast please visit the Help page.
